Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and administer medications per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop patient treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge instructions
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
- Participate in shift handoffs and team huddles to ensure continuity of care
- Assist in emergency response situations and code blue activations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania (or eligible to obtain)
- BSN degree from accredited nursing program (ADN candidates with experience considered)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care setting preferred
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to professional development and ongoing learning
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
