Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care, including comprehensive assessments, treatments, and medication administration.
- Monitor patient vitals and medical status closely, documenting changes and communicating promptly with physicians and the care team.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized, evidence-based patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment plans, and self-care strategies to ensure better health outcomes.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure strict compliance with healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and HIPAA standards.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred; medical-surgical or critical care experience is a plus.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
