Responsibilities
- Administer medications, treatments, and medications via IV as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or emergencies immediately.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Adhere to all hospital policies, protocols, and regulatory standards (HIPAA/JCAHO).
- Assist in code situations and perform basic life support (BLS) when required.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or New York.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment under pressure.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is a plus.
