Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across diverse medical-surgical units
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care
- Educate patients and families on health management plans
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- ADN or BSN from accredited nursing program
- Active NM RN license (or compact state license)
- BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Basic ECG interpretation skills
- Strong critical thinking and communication abilities
- Electronic medical records experience (EPIC preferred)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
