Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care by administering medications, treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
- Assess patient conditions and document clinical findings accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop individualized care plans.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and changing patient needs within the unit.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in accordance with hospital standards.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (ASN, BSN, or MSN).
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maryland.
- Passion for entry-level nursing roles with a commitment to professional development.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients as needed.
