Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and self-care management
- Adhere to infection control and safety regulations
- Participate in shift handoffs and team huddles for seamless continuity of care
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN required)
- Active Indiana RN license (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Compassionate approach to patient care
- Basic computer proficiency for EMR systems
