Responsibilities
- Monitor patient health and report vital changes to the healthcare team immediately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding medical conditions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and care activities.
- Perform basic life support and emergency procedures when necessary.
- Assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing School (Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred).
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nevada.
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association) upon hire.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume hospital environment.
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care standards.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
