Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including assessments, medication administration, and treatment coordination
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and self-care management
- Adhere to infection control protocols and safety regulations at all times
- Participate in unit quality improvement initiatives and process enhancement projects
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with calm, decisive action
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Active Missouri RN license or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and professional ethics
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
