Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while documenting in EHR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to healthcare providers
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge instructions
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control procedures
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina (or compact state)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Clinical rotation or new graduate program completion
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
