Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge instructions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
- Adhere to all HIPAA and hospital regulatory compliance standards
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN) required
- Active Michigan RN license or eligibility to obtain immediately
- Pass NCLEX exam or scheduled to take within 3 months
- BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
