Responsibilities
- Conduct patient intakes, including verifying insurance and collecting demographic information.
- Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature.
- Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and maintain accurate patient documentation.
- Perform basic laboratory duties, including specimen collection and processing.
- Answer patient inquiries via phone and email with a professional and empathetic tone.
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and patient follow-ups.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certificate as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) preferred but not required for entry-level applicants.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate EHR systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Valid Arizona driver's license is not required for this remote position.
