Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care across multiple units including Med-Surg, ICU, and ER rotations
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precise documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergency situations using ACLS protocols
- Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and home care needs
- Maintain accurate EHR documentation meeting Joint Commission standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit safety committees
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Indiana (or compact state eligibility)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from accredited program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings
- Strong critical thinking and time management abilities
- Excellent communication skills with diverse populations
