Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings following clinical protocols
- Administer medications and treatments accurately with proper documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition promptly
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety regulations
- Participate in shift handoffs and team huddles for continuity of care
Qualifications
- Valid California RN license (or eligible to obtain within 90 days)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- CPR/BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Basic EHR/EMR system proficiency
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour flexible shifts (days/nights/weekends)
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
