Responsibilities
- Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment according to protocols
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile fields and enforce aseptic techniques
- Transport patients to and from operating rooms safely
- Inventory and restock surgical supplies in operating rooms
- Document procedural activities accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with nursing and anesthesia teams for seamless care
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – we train from day one!
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CPR certification preferred (training provided if needed)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Excellent communication skills and team mentality
- Willingness to complete our paid 8-week training program
