Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor client health and report any changes in condition or behavior to the nursing supervisor.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and cleaning living areas.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping trips, and social events.
- Ensure the safe and proper use of all provided equipment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid Arizona Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Previous experience in home health care or caregiving is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong physical stamina to lift and assist clients as needed.
