Responsibilities
- Personal Care & Mobility: Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and toileting. Utilize the mobility equipment provided by our team to ensure client safety and comfort.
- Medication Administration: Support clients with medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed schedules while monitoring for any side effects.
- Companionship & Engagement: Build lasting relationships through conversation, hobbies, and social activities to combat loneliness and enhance emotional well-being.
- Household Management: Perform light housekeeping tasks such as meal preparation, laundry, and cleaning to maintain a safe and hygienic living environment.
- Health Monitoring: Track and report vital signs, weight changes, and any irregularities to the supervising nursing staff immediately.
Qualifications
- Certifications: Valid Arizona CNA or HHA certification (or willingness to obtain) is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months of professional caregiving experience is preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods; comfortable operating provided mobility aids and medical devices.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and medical professionals.
- Reliability: Must be a U.S. citizen or have valid work authorization and a clean driving record.
