Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently according to state and federal regulations.
- Assist pharmacists with medication therapy management and sterile compounding when required.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure strict compliance with HIPAA privacy laws.
- Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance coverage.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving deliveries, stocking shelves, and performing cycle counts.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients by answering questions and resolving concerns.
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification is required.
- Current, active Minnesota Pharmacy Technician license.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with pharmacy software systems.
