Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures
- Assist dentist during exams and complex treatments
- Sterilize instruments and maintain equipment
- Take dental radiographs and impressions
- Manage inventory and ordering of supplies
- Provide post-operative instructions to patients
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Ensure OSHA compliance in all procedures
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DA, EFDA, or RDA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- DEXIS/Radiography certification
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and organizational abilities
