Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatment and assist dentists during complex procedures
- Perform sterilization and infection control protocols in compliance with OSHA standards
- Manage digital radiography (X-rays) and intraoral imaging systems
- Maintain accurate patient records using our advanced dental software
- Coordinate treatment plans and insurance verification processes
- Provide post-operative care instructions and patient education
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or New York State license
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and dental practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification from accredited institution
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Excellent chairside manner and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environment
- Spanish language proficiency preferred
