Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments according to OSHA protocols
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and care
- Manage patient flow and maintain immaculate operatory sanitation
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patient vital signs
- Implement digital charting and practice management software
- Train new staff on clinical protocols and equipment operation
Qualifications
- Current DANB certification or Arizona Dental Assistant license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to continuing education in dental advancements
