Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and clinical areas for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during complex treatments including restorative and cosmetic work
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control compliance
- Take accurate digital dental radiographs and impressions
- Maintain precise dental records and inventory management
- Deliver post-operative instructions and patient education
- Coordinate treatment scheduling and insurance documentation
Qualifications
- CDA certification or DANB registration required
- Minimum 2 years clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance standards
- Exceptional chairside demeanor and patient communication skills
- CPR certification and radiology permit
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
