Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during dental procedures including restorative, orthodontic, and surgical cases
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following OSHA protocols
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Administer infection control protocols and maintain operatory sterility
- Assist with patient education and post-operative care instructions
- Manage inventory and ordering of dental supplies
- Coordinate treatment planning and case presentation with dentists
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or RDA license in Nevada
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-rays) and imaging software
- Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures
- Excellent communication skills and patient rapport abilities
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification and willingness to maintain
- Experience with Eaglesoft or DentalWorks EMR systems preferred
