Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including restorative and surgical cases
- Take and develop accurate dental radiographs (X-rays) with digital imaging systems
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization procedures exceeding OSHA standards
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for optimal clinical efficiency
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Assist with digital charting and practice management software (Epic/EHR)
- Coordinate patient flow and scheduling to minimize wait times
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA license required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and intraoral cameras
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Excellent chairside manner and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of dental materials and instruments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- Experience with dental anesthesia monitoring preferred
