Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments following OSHA protocols
- Manage patient records and digital charting systems
- Take accurate dental radiographs and impressions
- Provide chairside assistance with four-handed dentistry techniques
- Administer infection control protocols and maintain clinical inventory
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene procedures
- Coordinate treatment planning with front office team
Qualifications
- Current Nebraska Dental Assistant certification or DANB required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification from accredited institution
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple patients in fast-paced environment
- Commitment to continuing education in dental advancements
