Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform chairside duties: instrument sterilization, material preparation, and patient education
- Manage digital radiography (X-rays) and intraoral imaging systems
- Oversee infection control protocols and OSHA compliance
- Coordinate patient flow and optimize clinical efficiency
- Maintain accurate dental records and treatment documentation
Qualifications
- Current Texas Dental Assistant License or RDA certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification and HIPAA compliance knowledge
- Exceptional chairside manner and patient communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and infection control expertise
