Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental X-rays with digital imaging technology
- Manage patient records using practice management software
- Provide chairside support and ensure patient comfort
- Coordinate infection control protocols and OSHA compliance
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or radiology license
- 2+ years of clinical experience in a dental office
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
