Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations and oral surgeries
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and care
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control standards
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain optimal inventory levels
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene techniques
- Perform administrative tasks including scheduling and digital record management
- Coordinate with specialists for seamless multi-disciplinary care
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital imaging systems (DEXIS, Dexis)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- CPR certification required
- Exceptional chairside manner and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
