Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments and assist dentists during complex procedures
- Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control protocols
- Take dental radiographs and perform diagnostic imaging
- Manage patient records using Dentrix/Epic software systems
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
- Provide chairside support during restorative and surgical procedures
- Educate patients on post-treatment care instructions
Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts Dental Assistant certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in dental radiography and infection control
- Dentrix/Epic EMR experience preferred
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail with strong organizational abilities
