Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
- Maintain sterilization protocols and inventory of dental supplies
- Manage patient scheduling and digital records using Eaglesoft software
- Deliver post-operative instructions and patient education
- Assist in administrative tasks including insurance verification and billing
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain strict confidentiality
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license in California
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital imaging and practice management software
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols (OSHA/CDC)
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification and willingness to maintain current
