Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and ensure comfort throughout treatments
- Assist dentists during complex procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques
- Maintain sterile instruments and infection control protocols exceeding OSHA standards
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Handle dental materials inventory and ordering for seamless operations
- Document patient records accurately in our EHR system
- Coordinate patient education on oral hygiene and treatment plans
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent Nebraska certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification (must maintain current)
- Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization procedures
- Exceptional communication skills for patient interactions
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
