Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments
- Manage digital radiography (X-rays) and intraoral imaging with precision
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA-compliant operatory setups
- Take accurate dental impressions and pour study models
- Administer patient education on oral hygiene protocols
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies efficiently
- Coordinate treatment plans and schedule coordination
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DALECC or DANB)
- 2+ years of chairside experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft or dental practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification with current renewal
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- X-ray certification and radiography experience required
