Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments and assist dentists during procedures
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
- Take dental X-rays and perform preliminary diagnostic tasks
- Manage patient records and schedule appointments efficiently
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
- Provide chairside support during complex restorative procedures
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene
Qualifications
- Active RDA license or DANB certification required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-ray) systems
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Eaglesoft practice management software preferred
