Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Sterilize instruments and maintain operatory hygiene standards
- Take dental X-rays and process diagnostic images
- Manage patient records using digital software (Epic experience preferred)
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
- Coordinate with front desk on scheduling and patient flow
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DAEFCC or DANB)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and infection control protocols
- CPR certification (current)
- Exceptional communication and chairside manner
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic setting
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards
- High school diploma or equivalent required
