Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including four-handed dentistry and oral surgery
- Manage patient flow and digital charting using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Perform advanced dental radiography and sterilization protocols
- Coordinate treatment plans and insurance verification processes
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records and inventory systems
- Train new assistants on clinic protocols and OSHA standards
Qualifications
- Current DANB certification or Wisconsin Dental Assistant license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (Pano/CBCT) and infection control
- CPR/BLS certification with current renewal
- Strong knowledge of dental materials and equipment maintenance
- Exceptional communication skills for patient education
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
