Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures using 4-handed dentistry techniques
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Prepare sterilization equipment and maintain OSHA compliance protocols
- Execute infection control protocols for all patient areas
- Coordinate patient flow and chairside efficiency
- Manage inventory ordering and supply chain optimization
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state-issued)
- Minimum 2 years chairside experience
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-ray, CBCT)
- Knowledge of Eaglesoft or Dentrix practice management systems
- CPR certification required
- Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance
- Exceptional manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in high-volume clinical settings
