Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Perform digital radiography and intraoral imaging with precision
- Manage sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Deliver chairside assistance with four-handed dentistry techniques
- Execute infection control protocols in accordance with CDC guidelines
- Oversee inventory management and restock dental supplies efficiently
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or DANB-registered required
- Minimum 2 years of chairside experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or Dentrix practice management software
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of dental radiography techniques
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for patient interaction
- Ability to multitask effectively in high-volume clinical settings
- Georgia dental radiology license preferred
