Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments and assist dentists during procedures
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision
- Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control protocols
- Manage patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
- Provide post-procedure care instructions to patients
- Ensure operatory cleanliness and optimal equipment functionality
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or registered status in Texas
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a dental practice
- Proficiency in dental radiography and infection control
- Excellent chairside assisting skills and patient rapport
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
