Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including four-handed dentistry and chairside support
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms following OSHA protocols
- Take dental impressions and develop X-rays with digital radiography systems
- Manage patient scheduling and maintain accurate digital records
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Order inventory and manage supply chain for clinical operations
- Assist in front desk coordination when needed
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage anxious patients
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Oklahoma state radiology permit preferred
