Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and orthodontic treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following OSHA guidelines
- Take accurate dental radiographs (X-rays) and digital impressions
- Manage patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Provide chairside assistance and maintain patient comfort throughout treatments
- Perform infection control protocols and maintain clinical hygiene standards
- Manage inventory ordering and supply organization
Qualifications
- Minnesota Dental Assistant license required (or eligibility)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (DEXIS, Dexis preferred)
- CPR/BLS certification from accredited institution
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
