Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery and restorative treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials following strict sterilization protocols
- Take digital dental X-rays and maintain accurate patient records
- Manage inventory ordering and equipment maintenance
- Provide patient education on post-treatment care and hygiene
- Coordinate scheduling and patient flow efficiently
- Assist with front desk duties including insurance verification and billing
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and infection control knowledge
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Texas dental assistant license in good standing
