Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including implants and orthodontics
- Take and develop dental radiographs with digital imaging systems
- Perform infection control protocols and sterilize instruments
- Manage patient flow and maintain treatment room readiness
- Prepare materials for dental procedures and restorations
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide monitoring
- Maintain accurate digital patient records
Qualifications
- Current California RDA license
- Minimum 2 years dental assisting experience
- CPR/BLS certification
- X-ray and coronal polishing certification
- Experience with digital practice management software
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including some Saturdays
