Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Take dental X-rays and maintain digital records
- Manage patient scheduling and insurance documentation
- Provide post-op instructions and patient education
- Order supplies and maintain inventory control
- Ensure strict OSHA and HIPAA compliance
Qualifications
- Active Florida Dental Assistant license required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Certification in radiography and coronal polishing
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix software
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a high-volume practice
- CPR/BLS certification
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
