Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone or video to determine urgency and recommend appropriate care.
- Document all patient interactions and care plans accurately in the EMR system.
- Coordinate referrals to specialists, urgent care, or emergency services as needed.
- Educate patients on self-care strategies, medication management, and preventative health.
- Collaborate with physicians and care team members to ensure holistic patient management.
- Manage high call volumes while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the State of Nebraska.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in triage or telehealth.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments.
