Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform digital X-rays and chairside dental imaging with precision
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization of instruments
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene and post-op care
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
- Coordinate treatment plans and schedule coordination efficiently
- Maintain accurate patient records using practice management software
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DA or RDA) required
- 2+ years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-ray) equipment
- CPR/BLS certification from accredited institution
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental board regulations
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environment
- Experience with Eaglesoft or Dentrix software preferred
