Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform sterilization and infection control protocols following OSHA guidelines
- Take and develop diagnostic dental X-rays with precision
- Manage patient scheduling, records, and digital charting in Dentrix software
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for seamless clinical workflows
- Deliver exceptional patient education on post-operative care and oral hygiene
- Order inventory and maintain dental supply organization
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and sterilization techniques
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Experience with Eaglesoft or Dentrix practice management software
