Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a safe living environment.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with daily medication administration as directed by the Registered Nurse.
- Offer companionship and engage in conversation to reduce isolation and improve mental well-being.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and social events.
- Monitor client health status and promptly report any changes, concerns, or accidents to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Current Washington State Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Proof of a negative TB test and current CPR/First Aid certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
