Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
- Manage digital radiography (CBCT) and intraoral imaging systems with precision
- Oversee sterilization protocols and inventory management for 10+ operatories
- Coordinate patient flow and documentation using Dentrix/Eaglesoft systems
- Train on new telehealth protocols for remote patient consultations
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant electronic health records
- Conduct preliminary patient assessments and vital measurements
- Assist in marketing initiatives through patient education materials
Qualifications
- Active Georgia Dental Assistant certification and radiology license
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital imaging (Sirona, Carestream) and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification and OSHA training
- Exceptional communication skills for telehealth interactions
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
- Experience with expanded functions (sealants, coronal polishing)
- Comfort with hybrid work arrangements requiring 3 days/week on-site
