Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and ensure comfort throughout treatments
- Assist dentists during complex procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilize dental instruments
- Take accurate dental radiographs and maintain digital records
- Perform chairside assistance during restorative and cosmetic treatments
- Manage inventory ordering and maintain clinical supply organization
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene practices
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Colorado Dental Assistant license required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Expertise in digital radiography and practice management software
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and infection control standards
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification and BLS training current
