Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform chairside duties: instrument transfer, suction, and patient positioning
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging with precision
- Sterilize equipment and maintain OSHA-compliant operatory setups
- Oversee inventory control and restock clinical supplies efficiently
- Deliver exceptional patient education on post-treatment care
- Coordinate seamless patient flow between exam rooms and treatment areas
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license in Oklahoma
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a general practice
- Mastery of digital radiography (DEXIS/Sirona preferred)
- Exceptional infection control protocols knowledge
- Strong communication skills with diverse patient demographics
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environments
- CPR/BLS certification from accredited provider
- Proven track record of maintaining HIPAA compliance
