Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Operate digital imaging equipment and maintain sterile instrument protocols
- Manage patient flow and chairside assistance with 4-handed dentistry techniques
- Perform infection control procedures and OSHA compliance monitoring
- Take accurate dental impressions and pour study models
- Manage inventory ordering for dental supplies and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft or Dentrix practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification and radiology license
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Exceptional communication skills for patient education
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
